I'm really thinking about becoming a film critic. This is because I saw the film THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT.

: Stop reading here if you don't like spoilers, I'm going to ruin the plot if you haven't seen it already

So yeah, the outlook of the film (judging a book by it's cover) leads you to believe that it's going to be a creepy house-related horror film, which it isn't. It's all going pretty well, a bit of decadent teenage smoking, then everything goes tits up (literally) as the bad guys get home.

So yeah, 2 bad guys, 1 bad girl, 2 innocent girls and 1 clueless pussy.

The plan is, the bad guys are gonna kill the girls because the bad guys are in the newspaper for killing some cops, and the girls have seen them and shit. So they're driving, some bitch burns some other bitches face, car crashes, bit of blood and pain, etc.

Girl one runs away, gets caught, gets dragged back. Girl two gets raped, Girl one mouths off and gets killed. Girl two gets shot in the back while escaping and pretends to be dead.

The bad guys go to girl two's house and meets her charming parents, the father happens to be a doctor / surgeon. At this point there's an inconsistency - team asshole started the whole rape / murder thing because they were all seen while also being on the front of the local paper for murder - and now they're happy to just walk up and say hello.

Anyway, bad guys get to spend the night in the guest house, girl two gets home eventually, dad fixes her up, mother figures out that it's the guests that actually raped her, film takes a FROM DUSK UNTIL DAWN style twist and now it's an amature WWE Hardcore match.

One of the 2 bad guys goes back to the house and finds the mother alone, they have a really badly-reacted conversation about drinking with sexual undertones, and the bad guy turns around TO SEE THE HALF-DEAD BITCH THEY RAPED AND SHOT and he stops.

Now the mother has a free hit on the bad guy - from his back - she's in the kitchen, she has a few options to chose from, the most obvious being A FUCKING KNIFE.

So he hits him with a wine bottle which breaks and leaves the floor slippery and covered in glass. ONLY THEN does she have the presence of mind to run back and grab the knife, which the guy runs straight on to. He gets it about 2-3 inches into his chest, then pulls it out and jumps on the mother with it.

First thing he does is whack her with the handle of the knife then just as he gets ready to stab her in the face, the doc comes back with a hammer or something. They proceed to double team the guy but suck at it. The doctor, I'd assume, would know a few ways of incapacitating someone, like veins and arteries, nerves and airways for example.

So he grabs the guy's nose (it was previously broken in the car crash) and starts to twist it back out of shape. Pretty cool idea right? Well as a doctor he should also know that DURING A FIGHT WITH BLOOD AND WEAPONS YOUR BRAIN RELEASES SO MUCH ADRENALINE THAT ATTEMPTING TO SUBDUE SOMEONE WITH PAIN IS FUTILE. Adrenaline acts as a pain suppressant, to say the least.

Since the doctor is behind the guy during this little fight, instead of grabbing his nose (and risking having his hand bitten off) he could have easily just grabbed the guy's neck and choked him out.

But no, they have a sissy bitch fight until the guy eventually gets drowned in the sink, and gets his hand shredded in the garbage disposal for good measure.

BBS Signatures - Part 1

Showing off your bans.

It's said clearly in the BBS rules:
Complaining or boasting about any ban, including comments in signature text.

This rule applies to BBS signatures as well.

The reason for this is that showing off your ban is doing two things -

1. Showing that you obviously didn't learn your lesson from your ban since you're treating it as a trophy of your recent rule-breaking.

and

2. Encouraging other users to misbehave so they can eventually be banned and have their own ban signature to show off.

Being banned from the BBS isn't meant to be a good thing. It's not supposed to be another excuse to show off.
It's supposed to be a private, user-specific notification that you broke the rules or overstepped your boundaries.

If people continue to put their bans in their signatures, the bans themselves will have less and less impact because they'll be a common, trivial sight of everyday BBS browsing.

BBS moderators can delete your Signature text and picture, so uploading and replacing something that was deleted will be seen as an act of defiance to this rule, and might get you banned.
If you notice something missing one day, try PMing a mod with a link to your missing signature image and ask them if it was breaking any rules.
