Awesome!

I loved the scream, in fact, I loved the whole movie. Damn good job, keep up the good work.

Dayum straight NGer!

Well done!

This entry surprised me, It was Drawn very well.

Good job on the Special Effects, they looked awesome.

If anything, I'd have like a way to mute the music on the loading screen, other then that it was perfect.

Well done.

Needs a lot of work.

First of all, get used to using only the same sprite types. I could tell when the sprites changed when Mario looked up, which you could have avoided.

You should also learn to make sure that mario is always the same size and looks right before you animate with him,. When he walks in the first place, he's squished up and too tall.

Other then that, the text looked fairly ugly and the movie needed a much higher frame rate, so maybe you should work on that too.

Having said all that, it's not bad, you have done well to keep it on a decent level of quality.

Well done, but keep going.

Brilliant!

I'm gonna keep this movie in my favourites as reference for when people say stuff like "ALL SPRIET MOVEIS SUCK LOLZ". This is one of the best sprite movies i've ever seen.

You did the voices excellently, and the animation was perfect. I laughed quite a lot at the little fight scenes, that boomerang part was genius.

Well done, keep up the good work.

MajinPiccolo responds:

Thank you. The voices were very well done thanks to the voice actors, and I'm glad you enjoyed the little fight scenes here and there. I enjoyed making them.

Refreshing!

It's nice to see an animation here on Newgrounds that isn't completely overshadowed by a constant theme of violence. The FBF animate was done very well, and the music fitted the piece almost perfectly.

I recognised the music as 'Song of Storms' from the Legend of Zelda series.

Very good job.

tricolor responds:

Thanks so much for the kind words... I'm glad you liked the music, and it mea ns so much to hear that you liked the animation. I worked on the syncing, too, so the credit is rewarding.

Cheers!

Not too bad.

A few things I liked, stuff like the overall length compared to the file size, the humour was okay in places to.

The sound effect you had for Mario screaming was a little overused through out the movie, and the humour got a little bit stale.

A Good effort though, get a few more original ideas next time and maybe start using some 16 bit sprites.

3/5

Camron23 responds:

It'll be better in the next movie.

Ugh, That really could have been better

It seems to me that the only person who knew what he was doing was lil_Gossy, the rest of the people's work wasn't up to the 3.92 score.

Apart from anything, what got me was the way that every character kept fucking teleporting around the stage and throwing all these big ultimate attacks around - quite the opposite to what happens in Super Smash Bros. type games.

Everything that wasn't sprite animation was terrible, the explotions in the Mario vs Luigi scene were just disgusting, and much of the rest of the movie had this quality too.

Sprites are best used by people who already have a basic knowledge and understanding of the way movie clips and graphics work in Flash, not just for amatures to shit out movies with mediocre graphics and get scores of 2.5+

I can see that a lot of work went into this collab, and that's why i've given it such a high score, but my advice to those who took part and brought the quality down is this - Learn Flash itself, not Sprites.

A good effort anyway, well done.

Excellent

Man this is awesome, It's well animated and the sounds and backgrounds are good too. It's a shame that the movie cuts off where it does, it could be so much better.

All in all a great movie, 10 / 10.

Jordanog responds:

sweetness! thanks

Excellent!

I really enjoyed that movie, and I just don't know why...

Oh well, keep it up and make more, please!

Nothing special.

First off, you killed the movie with the heavy imperial march theme, and the animation itself was nothing to be proud of. It ran together okay, but it still needs a lot of work if you're gonna start getting really high scores.

Oh, and please never use the Kill Bill theme in a Flash, I closed the window as soon as I heard it and voted 0, because it's way too common these days to hear that same piece of music.

stefan-mcconnell responds:

how is it common? the last time i heard it was 2 months ago
